Buildings with high footfall need automatic sliding door systems that are both convenient in daily use and quick to open wide as breakout doors in an emergency. The breakout function is also useful for other daily needs, such as moving bulky items into and out of a building.

Three breakout models

Full breakout
Door leaves and sidelights swing outward, suitable for escape routes

Partial breakout
Door leaves swing outward from closed position only, not suitable for escape routes

Reverse breakout
Door leaves swing outward from any position, suitable for escape routes

A swift escape route
In an emergency or panic situation, the door leaves are simply pushed outward manually to open up the escape route and normal automatic door operation is deactivated. The door leaves can be pushed aside for maximum opening width.

Versatile uses
TORMAX T2 contour escape is also ideal for moving bulky items like cars or furniture into salesrooms, turning the entrance area of a store into additional sales space or ventilating a restaurant with a large veranda in summer.

Full breakout summer opening
Door leaves can be swivelled out and pushed to the side for summer opening or to move bulky items.
